Throughout the mid-2010s, prolific vaporwave artist ℍUM♥ℕIGHTM♥RE published a collection of works that refined the classic sound of the genre to his whims, also focusing on his own spins towards vaportrap and slushwave on the side. "The Life Of Me" focused mainly on the most forward approach to the music, combining a focus on simple cutting of loops that he had already mastered and honing the atmosphere that could be built on top of it.

Past its deceptively simple framework, the album maximizes the heavy use of delay, reverberance, and echo traditionally by the style to apply it to a natural end, dragging not only ghostliness out from its use of effects but melancholy. There's a fragility lying behind each second that passes by, something that could only be pulled free by its exact approach. A unique touch to music to express something personal, however vague, to an audience through an artform that the artist truly connected with.

Something as simple as what ℍUM♥ℕIGHTM♥RE chose to present on this album manages to be nothing less than a smash hit, honed at every angle to come as close to a perfectionist's dream as possible. Even nearly a decade later, his art has still captivated and influenced many who spread his influence through their own work, which has butterflied outwards into a garden of art. All sprung entirely from the earnest ideas of a single person.

To celebrate his influence, his art, and his legacy, it is being released once more to both a new and old audience. We hope any new listeners find his music to be as effective as it was upon its debut, so that it can be carried with them into the future of vaporwave just as it has been before.
