During one of the earliest themed blocks that we created between strings of releases, we took upon the effort of curating works from four different Brazilian artists. Among these included Machina Pensant, who gave us the privilege of releasing such an interesting, forward-thinking record as Temple.

To listeners unfamiliar with this album, Pensant takes a distinctly different approach to the brand of beats-heavy vapor that has sprouted over the last few years, focusing on integrating loops and gradual progression into his track structures. Ideas flesh themselves out through the strength of his cuts and the ways that they are rearranged, giving an unmatched level of focus and character to his sound.

Tracks like "Grass" exemplify this, almost seeming to have multiple progressions that blend into each other over time, sharing details and merging over into others, allowing them to flow cleanly from one entire idea to another by the end without the listener noticing.

Over the last couple years, we have always had the potential of reissuing it on our mind. Upon discussing it with the artist, we have taken the opportunity as a way to present the album once more, anew. As such, a fresh coat of paint has been applied to both the cover and the tracks. New mastering has rounded out what were already immaculate tracks, allowing for listeners to peer in and notice more distinct details that were once hidden.
