As dense as it is diverse in its exploration of pure sonic texture, Silver Body (published under FANTASYNET) is one of the most ambition projects of experimental producer Clean Slate's catalog. Obsessed with both repetition and progression within its composition, each section consists of one to several layers of short, distinct notes layered over top the other to create a scene that is at times moody and droning, only to immediately divert into a frenetic blast of unpredictable percussive rhythm.

Each track manages to completely divert from the mood of the last as yet another way to keep the listener on edge, with tracks such as the minimal opening of Cedu (Fall) leading into the complex patchwork of cut and slashed sections of percussion and synths that make up the majority of Dark Room. This then leads into the more structured form of Bright Dream, the first three tracks managing to set a strong precedent with little lifting outside of the presentation of unmatched chopping work.

An interesting mix of vaporwave, idm, glitch, and noise techniques, Silver Body manages to create an environment unlike any other in its runtime, one which just about anyone invested in the more intricately produced side of any of these styles will enjoy.
